8 years ago: "Mom. I know what I'm doing!" My daughter rushes out of the door but right before she slams the door shut I grab her wrist."What are you doing?" she snaps. I'm at a loss for words and the only thing I can do is stare right at her, she doesn't even look at me. My hand trembles as I finally whisper: "Don't do this."She looks to the ceiling and murmurs something I can't understand. My eyes are pleading for explanation.Then, clear as day and soaked with tears she rasps: "I trust him." For a moment it feels like time isn't passing, like it doesn't belong to us anymore.&nbsp;She closes the door behind her. I’m not certain of a lot of things nut right now, I am sure.I have lost my baby.
