The adventures of Peep the silly little sheep Book 3

Peep, as we all know, lives on a farm. Her friends are a donkey, chickens, pig, cow and duck. They all like to ride in Mr. Farmers truck. They see Mr. Farmer getting the truck ready for a ride into town. Watch out Mr. Farmer they might knock you down. The chickens cluck the donkey brays the pigs oink, duck quacks 'and the cow moos. Goose is on the loose, he's running up the trailer. Honking so loud don't forget me I want to join the crowd. Peep yelled; we need to get snacks like some apple jacks. As they all jumped into the back of the pickup truck trailer. Just my luck said Duck I'm standing in pig muck. Cluckety,cluck, cluck the chickens cackled. Duck huffed and fluffed his feathers making himself look bigger to frighten those silly chickens like the dickens. Riding down the long country road they see a toad. Thats quite a truck load said the toad Their ride is quite bumpy. The donkey is getting jumpy. Hold on everyone our journey has just begun. Peep said, Oh, pigs don't be so cranky I'll sing you a song. It won't take too long. We can all sing along. Peep began to sing. "Flubadubdub were in a club. animals on the farm. The meadow is where we play all day. Then we go to the barn to lay in the hay. We all get along; we cause no harm. We are aware that we need to share, I do declare we all need loving care, for all the animals on the farm". The animals enjoyed Peeps song, but something was wrong. They couldn't find Duck I think she fell out of the truck. What shall we do, this can't be true. We need a clue. The cow said Moo. I found a clue. Duck's mucky feet left mud on the rim of the truck. She must have lost her grip and slipped and flipped. Peep heard a quack near the trailer hitch that pulls the tagalong trailer. Peep looked down I see duck, yelled Peep she's stuck between the truck and trailer. We need a rope to tie around me and lower me down so I can grab Duck to get her unstuck. The chickens cluck I found rope. We have hope, what luck we need to help Duck. The donkey and cow lowered Peep. She made a clean sweep. Duck was safe. Pull me up yelled Peep, Hurry up. Cow and donkey pulled with all their might. Oh, what a site to see peep and duck safe and in place. Thankyou cow and donkey you are brave and mighty heroes. When we get home, I'll be sure to get you some churros. The time has come Mr. Farmers trip into town was done. He had all his animal feed and hay. Time to get on his way. Homeward bound he shouted. He started his truck and heard a cluck chicken get in the back of the truck. He chuckled and threw some honey suckle through the back window for some chicken pickins.. On the road again. Peep held onto Duck so she would be safe just in case she would be misplaced. On the way home they saw toad with a friend to jump into the lake in the deep end. Kerplunk with a splash they made a dash for the lily pad to climb onto. Mr. Farmer drove down his long driveway coming to a stop. He got out of the truck to unload his animals. One by one they walked down the ramp. Duck leaving mucky feet prints behind him. They all scampered every which way to play and play. Cow and Donkey ate the churros that were left by Peep. Oh how they loved that silly little sheep. Duck ran to swim in the pond. Peep close behind always to keep an eye on Duck as to always, always take time out of your day.to stop and say I will be there for you anytime of the day.
