Synopsis
Peep the little sheep was sitting on the snowy hill. Duck, Peeps dear friend was nearby. Peep wanted a thrill to show off her skill. She slid down the hill and bumped into duck right on his bill. They tumbled down together, white feathers blinding my sight Oh no what a fright. Quack, quack I'm going to ride you bare back. We can bounce back and get on track. Ducks plan worked They rammed into the haystack. Soft landing yelled Peep. Oh duck so silly of me. I was trying to be carefree. The breeze blew a scrumptious smell towards Peep and Duck. Strawberry Rhubarb I presume. Coming from the porch window ledge. Just high enough for me to wedge the pie on it's edge. Duck and I will have a sweet treat. The pie landed on the ground Strawberries and rhubarb all around. Strawberries on Peeps head, Rhubarb on Ducks feet. What a mess we made, Duck said, I need some lemonade. We ate to our hearts content. UH, OH who do we see but Mrs. Farmer looking at me. Shouting and uttering words that were absurd. Swinging her broom in a motion so fast. Duck and I dashed in a flash. We hid in the sweet mash refrigerated room in the darkness behind the trash can full of oats and mash. In case we needed to make a dash. Mrs. Farmers broom broke in two. Trying to wedge it between the canoe. She couldn't reach us, that was a plus. She tried to squeeze in, but there was no room. She was too big. She could not fit so she quit. Duck and I sneaked out of our hiding place not knowing Mrs. Farmer was giving chase. Around and around the chicken coop we ran. Squawking was heard all around. North bound and south bound. OH, what a sound. She kept up the pace as if she was in a race. Suddenly she fell on her own shoelace. Mrs. Farmer said this chase should not take place. I hope you two enjoyed the pie, next time I will stack it up high. Tired and stuffed Peep and Duck returned to the barn and layed in the hay. Goat, 2 Chickens, pig and Donkey were already there. Peep and Duck told them about their adventure. Next time we will just play and leave the pie high and dry. With a kiss goodbye. Turning a blind eye to Mrs. Farmers pies. Everyone giggled with delight. Time for sleep and have a good night.
