Synopsis
In a land of Begonia where things are not as they seemed as delusions, mirages or hallucinations and disfigurement. All of the people in Begonia suffer from these illnesses. They are born this way to live a life of turmoil, overwhelming experiences, and confusion. These alterations of the mind and body are not temporary they are a reality; future generations are null. It's a sad way of life, but with all the pandemics and diseases this was unavoidable. Begonia's people had the largest outbreak of a horrible epidemic that spread throughout their homeland. They were able to confine the epidemic. The way of life has been forever changed. Life is unpredictable you learn to expect the inevitable. The people of Begonia are restricted from leaving their motherland. No one is allowed to enter the country. The whole country of Begonia is under surveillance. The authorities need to monitor the people and all of their actions. It is against the law to bring a new life into Begonia. The life expectancy is only 22yrs old. Soon Begonias people will all perish. It would be a natural disaster. Without human maintenance nature would reclaim the environment. Buildings decay and crumbling to the ground. Roads would be taken over by vegetation and wildlife would return. Over time the country would become unrecognizable. The world is in mass panic mode. The country would now have to be rebuilt. Begonia would need to be divided amongst nearby countries. There would be arguing over who gets to take jurisdiction of the now vacant country. It would be chaotic. Wars could probably take place in this situation. More people would die. Only the strongest would survive to take over the country. Survival of the fittest was now taking place in the country of Begonia. Everything both good and bad eventually changes or comes to an end. Meaning nothing lasts forever. The impermanence of human existence. Life is fragile and vulnerable. You need to accept the fragility of life so you can lead to a greater acknowledgement for the present moment and a more perspective approach to living. Our time here is precious and worthwhile.
