The rain hasn't stopped since the Machines took control. Somehow seems like they are controlling the weather along with everything else. The few of us who saw what was coming are trying to keep hidden, but with cameras everywhere it's not been an easy task."Lord will it ever stop, " John stomps his feet as he comes I'm the door," "although as hard as it's coming down it makes it a little bit easier to move without being caught ",shaking water off the umbrella. "I heard they got two more this morning, anyone know who it was?" He asked. "No"i answered, "you are the only person I have seen today, it's been quiet so far. "My name is Patrick, I'm one of the first to bring to light what the Machines were planning. At first no one believed me but a slight few, I took too long trying to prove it to too many, now there is barely a handful of us left."Well I hope it wasn't anyone who knew of this place or we'll be moving again. " John sighed. "Wed better start packing up anyway just to be sure. "I advised. " we can't take any changes anymore, we need to get out of the city ASAP. No where is safe right now, especially when they keep grabbing more every day.""Where can we go?"he asked, "I thought everywhere was already compromised.?"I have an old cabin way up in the forest, not easy to get to, but if we travel quiet and fast we could be there by nightfall. " I answered "we need somewhere we can work on bringing down the main hub or all of them at once."" How can we do that way up in the woods, no internet no phone, no lights.". He asked, "can't we find another safe house here in the city. "?The door open and in walks another couple, Mike and Rose. "Man it's wet out there, keeps this up maybe we should build an Ark." Mike says, "Got your message and came right away. What is going on?""They just got two more this morning and I'm afraid we might have been compromise, "I answered."That was the two hiding in the subway, can't remember their names " Mike states."We still need to move, don't know who they talked to or if they knew of this place. We're packing it all up and heading out of town" I said as I was packing boxes."We will help you pack but Rose is too close to giving birth to leave right now, she has been having a really hard time and we don't want to lose the baby."" Don't tell us where you are going just in case we get caught. "We all started back packing all the equipment we could take, no since taking anything electronic as we wouldn't be able to use it anyway. "Almost done, Brian should be here with the truck anytime, he was picking up a few others to go with us first. "" OK we'll be off then, too many in one place draws attention and we don't need that right now. " Mike says putting his coat on and helping Rose with hers, Then hugs all around "see you in a month or two, should be three by then." We all laughed and they went out the door. "I'm going to pick up the girls and we will be ready to go when you get me"John declared "Lord will this rain ever stop "and out the door he goes.
