I am an aspiring writer of mainly short stories and flash fiction, although I occasionally turn my hand to poetry. My prose can be described as realist, poetic and bleak. I often explore life's more difficult subjects - death, mental illness, addiction, loneliness and societal marginalisation. I look for meaning in suffering and find beauty in the brutal. I am experimenting with incorporating more elements of horror and speculative fiction into my work.
