Herb Hagell spent a career in IT, and worked as a travel agent, internet marketer, poet, and writer—and most importantly, husband, father, and grandfather. He loves stories with twists and dark humour. Herb and his wife live in a small hamlet north of Toronto and enjoys travel and walks.  

His works include poetry collections 'The Proposal', 'Blackbeard's Quest' and 'Valentine's Charm', with features in online magazines, and poetry anthologies 'Permutations and Combinations of Love' and 'Adventures of Poe the Cat' compiled and edited by Thaddeus Hutyra for the Poetry Universe.
