So this is a story I have in mind sinds I was ten. But it goes like this;

a young girl, who lost her mother but still has a father, older brother and grandmother lives in a big house on the countryside. Her father has an aristocratic title and her grandmother is the dowager. Her brother is studying overseas and to cheer her up, her grandmother gifted her a amulet/locket. Her grandmother tells her a story, a story she always told the girl before bed. A story about a magic land, where dreams and nightmares are magic, where magical creatures live, like dragons, gnomes and unicorns. The land is ruled by a king and queen, who are part human, part fae. One rainy day when the girl is bored, she discovers the locket can be opened but it goes very difficult and with a lot of tries she opens it. And she is sucked into the amulet, appearing in that world her grandmother told her about, there she meets a boy, who becomes her friend and is prince of that said country. Together they explore the country until on a day at home in her world, the amulet opens on it own and brings the girl back to that world, appearing in the sacred temple..
