Natisha DuPree Bossie was born in Wrightstown, New Jersey to a young single mother. The oldest of four siblings, she has been writing since she was old enough to hold a pen. Unfortunate circumstances led to her being separated from all but her youngest sibling and ushered into the foster care system. Adopted in 1989 Natisha overcame her past trauma to become a successful IT, Graphic Designer and mother of three.

She spent several years in the Clarendon County School District in Manning, South Carolina where she worked as a Media Tech and Computer Specialist. This allowed her the opportunity to work with and mentor Middle School girls through a program founded by herself and the school's resource officer (SRO).
