The alarm wasn’t supposed to go off yet.

That’s all Miranda could say while being questioned by police. She sat almost in a daze, frozen in shock. She rocked back and forth with her hands clenched between her knees , detective Johnson snapped his fingers before her face and suddenly she was reminded of where she was…. And why she was there in the station.

“Miranda, I know this is extremely difficult, but we need you to help us to help you find answers “ detective Johnson said. Miranda wiped the tears from her eyes, exhaled, and began to tell the story.

” All I remember, is the alarm wasn’t supposed to go off yet. I KNOW I just KNOW I set it for 8:30 AM. I remember, because Kamden got his next bottle at 8:45! I just KNOW!”

Detective Johnson placed a hand on her trembling hand: “Miranda, what does the alarm have to do with where your son is?”

Miranda looked up to him deer eyed: “becuase the alarm went off at 7:45! And when I woke up I got angry! I haven’t slept in DAYS! I really thought I reset the alarm for 8:30!!! But I didn’t wake up until 9…. When I went to Kamden’s room…. (She wept, nearly hyperventilating) he was….gone. Just gone. And I don’t know where he is! You HAVE TO help me find him! PLEASE!”

Detective Johnson Peered slightly to

the left, signaling at agents Wheeler and Lopez behind the double sided mirror. You see, this wasn’t the first time Miranda Schofield lost a child. Although, as questionable as it seemed- she was completely innocent. In fact, there was something far more dangerous, or someone rather, behind these abductions.
