I’m Jessica Ellen Turner, a writer and poet from Adelaide. Most of what I write comes from lived experiences regarding mental health, survival, all the mess and magic that comes with being human. I’ve got a slam style voice, a bit gritty, a bit lyrical. I write to tell the truth, even when it hurts and to turn the hard stuff into something that moves people. That’s always been the point for me.
