Heather Picardat is an award-winning poet and short story writer from Michigan, known for exploring the natural and supernatural worlds in her work. She has published two chapbooks, Set Your Wild Heart Free and She Once Was, focusing on themes of mental health and personal transformation. Heather's writing has earned recognition, including winning the 2023 Dearborn Poetry Month competition and being the runner-up in the 2023 Michigan Write Short Story Contest. In addition to writing, she enjoys drawing, painting, photography, and spending time with her family.
