The frozen lake cracked beneath his feet.Crackle, crackle,crackle. His heart pounding in his throat. The frigid wind cutting through him to his very soul.

All he knew was that he had to keep going. Tick tock of the clock was he going to make it in time to save her?

He slowly lowers himself to the ground. He belly crawls on the ice.

Shivering not only from the cold but from a feeling of guilt of the unknown would he make it in time!

All he knew was he had to!

And his mind he pleaded,"God please save her!"

And spy and she kept going and kept pleading,"God save her!"

And disbelief and other horror he saw the hole in the ice swallow her up.

One last dress forward with all his might he reached out to get her.

The ice underneath him collapsed.

He was swallowed up by the icy water his whole body went numb.

His mind panicking he could not see but he knew if this was the end of his life he was going to be holding her when he left this Earth.

He reached out one last time.

He felt her arm he embraced her with the last ounce of energy he had.

He thrusted himself in her upward which was enough to get them to the surface he asked for air.

He blew air into her mouth struggling himself while uncontrollably shaking from the icy water.

The pain in his head moved to his heart ,was it too late?

She was cold and limped no life in her eyes her lips were blue he could not believe the sight of his 5-year-old baby girl.

He couldn't stop he continued to breathe and to her mouth.

One,Two,Three,Four,Five.

All of a sudden a gush of water spewed from her mouth all over his face she made a " uttttttt" sound as your lungs were finally feeling with air.

She was alive!!!!!

Tears rolling down his face pulled him back to reality.

He could not stop he had to get them both back to the bank of the lake.

He got her on top of the eyes she is limp but barely breathing on her own he pulled himself up on the ice his body totally exhausted.

A straight from an unknown source came to him . He belly crawled while dragging her by the hood of her coat.

Ants by Aunt stopping every few inches to make sure she is still breathing until they reach the bank of the lake.

In his mind he is saying: " Thank you God!".

He hurt sirens coming towards them unbeknownst to him a neighbor had seen him trying to save her and had called emergency services.

The paramedics reach them.

He said" Take her first!".

They began to work on her.

He feels an inner peace in his mind.

He says,"take me Lord let her live!".

He saved her and that is all that mattered.

His heart stopped beating and he left this Earth knowing he gave his life for the love of his life , his baby girl
