The man she buried was back and knocking;

She could see him from the upstairs window. Shaking, hand over her mouth; she ran and hid behind her clothes in the back of the closet.

She thinks to herself, how could this be?

She knows he was dead. She made sure, then she buried him in the backyard; Yet he was there, knocking louder and louder. She bites down on her hand to keep from screaming. Flashbacks like scenes from a horror show. 3 years of humiliation, bruises and broken bones by her abductor; and the climax that led to his death. The day let his guard down, she was ready; grabbed for gun before he react and her nightmare was finally over. He was dead!

She told no-one; she cleaned up and buried him,.

The knocking suddenly stopped! And for a moment, she held her breath, listening, still shaking, she opened her eyes, and realized she was in bed.

It was just a crazy dream, a nightmare.

She got up, and made herself a coffee. She sat at the window overlooking her back garden. She smiled. Nothing out of place, and the Roses were starting to bloom.
