Quite an amount of viewing taking place, which is always a good sign;

just need a few messages asking questions,

perhaps a few sales,

anything like that is usually encouraging.

my illustrations are always available as prints and cards, ya just need to enquire further!

my question is: do I hold off for a while, or plough on drawing, writing, editing earlier tales to pop them here?

Hey Peter,

It's great you're uploading so many stories on the platform. Note that Novelo is a growing platform so sometimes it takes time for stories to pick up steam. Take for example Yokai by TeamPanic it took a few months for it to be popular, in its first two months it only registered about 500 views but the month after that it got 1000 extra views. I think this author also had an audience of their own on other platforms that he was able to bring to Novelo.

Don't forget, Novelo is just a platform - a tool - for publishing. Ultimately, most of the marketing for individual stories have to be done by the author as the Novelo team consists of only two people.

Hello again to everyone,

any news on the creation of a story category specifically for children’s books?

and just for your interest I am appearing at the Kirkcudbright Book Festival week in early March.

this is the artists’ town in Dumfries and Galloway in the Scottish lowlands.

best wishes

peter
