Here at Novelo we are always thinking of ways to benefit readers and writers, which is why we're looking for feedback as to how you would feel about a reader's subscription. We're looking to release a second type of subscription, one aimed at readers, which would benefit both readers and authors alike.
We are looking at giving readers the opportunity to read as many Premium stories as are available on the site (current 200+) for a fee of $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year. 60% of this fee will be available as a global royalties pool for all authors who have had their Premium stories read that month. The full details about how this pool is distributed needs to be ironed out, but we are thinking the it would be based on the number of words read.
Subscribers will also benefit from no ads on the site and will earn a badge, like Novelo Premium, as well.
