The Alarm wasn't supposed to go off yet
Tangel
In The Alarm Wasn’t Supposed to Go Off Yet,Jenna is abruptly awakened at 3:00 a.m. by an alarm she didn’t set and strange footsteps in her house. Alone for the holidays, she’s spooked but determined to investigate. Her fear escalates when she finds her phone missing and the back door slightly ajar. Her phone soon pings, mysteriously appearing in the backyard, with an eerie message from an unknown number: “Don’t be afraid. I had to leave, but I’ll be watching.” Intrigued and unsettled, Jenna follows a magnetic urge to the street outside, where she encounters a hooded figure holding a long-lost bracelet of hers. The figure slips away after a final message on her phone: “Until next time.” Jenna returns to her empty house, heart pounding and mind racing, realizing this encounter may just be the beginning of a mysterious and chilling connection.

"The alarm wasn't supposed to go off yet. That's what Sebastian thought when the sharp sound cut through the air. He still had time. He was sure he still had more than enough minutes left. Sebastian blinked a few times at a rapid speed. He pinched himself in his left arm to ensure he wasn't imagining this like you would in dreams. He was pulled out of his slum by the sound that declared the end of this all. How could it be that the timer already had run out? What would happen to him now? He didn’t know the answer. He had never felt so small all his life.
